Das Neueste vom Tage

Die letzten Tage verliefen insgesamt sehr ruhig, viel gibt es aktuell leider nicht zu berichten. Mit der ASUS ENGTX570 bei den Kollegen Hartware und der POV/TGT Geforce GTX 570 auf Hardwareoverclock wurden zwei aktuelle Grafikkarte aus dem Hause NVIDIA auf Herz und Nieren geprüft. Eine sehr interessante Artikelserie gibt es aktuell bei den englischsprachigen Kollegen von Tweaknews zu lesen. Berichtet wird dort über die weltweit bekannte Messe für Unterhaltungselektronik Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Aufgeteilt in zwei Berichte zeigen die Kollegen präsentieren die Kollegen Stände großer Hersteller wie zum Beispiel Seagate Corsair, Kingston, Antec und Xigmatek.

• ASUS ENGTX570, Grafikkarte, Review auf Hartware.
  Auszug: ASUS hat bei seiner ENGTX570 die Taktraten von Grafikchip und Shader-Einheiten schon ab Werk leicht erhöht, um sich von der Konkurrenz abzuheben. Ansonsten handelt es sich aber um ein Standardmodell mit Referenzkühler und den üblichen Anschlüssen. Dafür liegt der Preis aber auch nur 10 Euro über den günstigsten GeForce GTX 570.

  Auszug: Schnelle DX11 Grafikkarten stehen derzeit hoch im Kurs. Um ca. 300,- Euro kann man zwischen vielen interessanten Modellen wählen. Eine davon ist die POV/TGT Geforce GTX 570, die uns etwas genauer angesehen haben

• ASUS P8P67 Deluxe, Mainboard, Review auf ocaholic.
  Auszug: Das P8P67 Deluxe ist ein wohl ausgestattetes Mainboard basierend auf Intels P67 Chipsatz. Dabei kann dieses beispielsweise mit USB3.0, SATA3, einer digitalen Spannungsversorgung, EFI BIOS, ...

• Zalman ZM-MH200 U3, Dual HDD Dock, Review auf techPowerUp.
  Auszug: There are plenty of docking stations out there. You can find them for one drive or for two, with card readers or USB ports. The Zalman MH200 U3 goes another direction: RAID. We push the unit to its limit to see if such a feature in a dual hard drive dock makes sense or makes us wonder why.

• Thermalright Archon, CPU-Kühler, Review auf Technic3D.
  Auszug: Thermalright bringt mit dem Archon einen CPU-Kühler speziell für 140mm Lüfter auf den Markt. Auf Bedarf können bis zu zwei der großen Lüfter montiert werden. Entgegen des letzten Kühler vom Schlage eines HR-02 setzt Thermalright beim Archon auf ein Tower-Konzept und sechs 6mm Heatpipes.

• Cubitek Tattoo Fire, Gehäuse, Review auf techPowerUp.
  Auszug: Cubitek is entering the case market with their Tattoo series of enclosures. Ranging from a basic model to one with LED fans and red interior along with a nice set of unique features we take a look at the Tattoo Fire chassis inside and out to see if it manages to light our fire or burns down in the process.

• Zalman Z9 Plus, Gehäuse, Review auf Tweaknews.
  Auszug: After examining the Z9 Plus chassis, I was very pleased to see that Zalman has addressed the vast majority of the issues I had with the Z7 series. Not only has Zalman improved cooling performance while still keeping noise in the acceptable range, they've given the interior a matching black finish for a uniform look, updated the aesthetics and added support for a couple of SSDs as well.

• Corsair Dominator 12GB 1600 Kit, DDR3 1600 CL9 Arbeitsspeicher, Review auf Technic3D.
  Auszug: Mit dem 12GB Corsair Dominator Kit schafft es ein weiteres, mit 4GB großen Einzelmodulen ausgestattetes RAM-Set in unsere Redaktion. In wie weit Corsair nicht nur Masse sondern auch Klasse liefert, zeigen wir in nachfolgendem Review.

• OCZ Revo Drive X2 480 GByte, SSD, Review auf ocaholic.
  Auszug: Schaut man sich auf dem SSD-Markt um und hält Ausschau nach möglichst leistungsfähigen Produkten, so wird man auf jeden Fall auf das OCZ Revo Drive X2 stossen. Mit bis zu 740 MB/s lesend, bis zu 720 MB/s schreibend, weist dieses Drive Performance-Werte auf, die ihresgleichen suchen. Ebenfalls wird angegeben, dass bis zu 120'000 IOPS möglich sein sollen.
  

• AMD Radeon HD 6870 and 6850 Overclocked Round-up, Review auf HotHardware.
  Auszug: As enthusiasts, one of the things we can always count on is the never-ending progression of computer hardware. Year after year, video cards get faster, processors offer more cores and / or performance, and motherboards provide additional features. That top of the line, $500 GPU you bought a few years ago can't touch the performance of a $200 graphics card available today. Yes, it's tough to keep up with the rapid pace of technology. But by shopping smarter, you minimize the chance of feeling buyer's remorse a few months down the road.

  Auszug: ZOTAC's GeForce GTX 580 AMP! Edition comes at a massive core clock of 815 MHz. During our testing we also noticed that the card could overclock consistently higher than other reference designs, which seems to be thanks to a special binning process in the ZOTAC factory.

• Intel D525MW Mini-ITX, Mainboard, Review auf MissingRemote.
  Auszug: In the past few years, Intel has really taken some steps in dominating the low power, small form factor board market. Today we have the Intel D525MW mini-ITX motherboard in our labs for review. The board is small, low powered and does not have a single fan on it. Don't confuse this for a Clarkdale or Sandy Bridge system however, the D525MW is a dual-core Atom board so it's not as much designed for playback of HD content as it is for a less visible activity - like serving that content to a HTPC or streamer. Let's see if this board can compete in a cramped (no pun intended) SFF market and be a viable solution for your home server or NAS needs.
